Should student athletes have to get good grade to play sports?

Yes, student athletes have to keep up with their academics classes to play sports in school. Students must pass their classes and have a good grade point average to stay on the team. If the students doesn't follow these guidelines they will be kicked of the team are have to seat out on game day.

They should but they don't. The teachers will just pass them.

Yes and most schools have a policy on that . The student must maintain a certain GPA in order to play sports. If the spot isn't affiliated with the school than the parents should make sure the grades are where they want them before sports are played.
