The answer to Why Syria is Fighting is complex. The Assad family has ruled Syria for fifty years on behalf of a Shiite minority as a monarchy in all but name. When the "Arab Spring" series of peaceful revolts against Muslim dictators swept through North Africa, it resonated in the minds of most Syrians, who as Sunnis do not share the ethnic or religious identity of the small clique that rules the nation. In part it began as an honest and nonviolent effort to change Syria from tyranny to elected government. But when the Assad family and their supporters responded with rifle fire and torture, the nonviolent protests eventually changed to active warfare- because it was not hard for the Sunni majority there to get hold of assault rifles and RPGs from across the border in Iraq.
Because the people there want what we take for granted, and their *dicktator* Assad would rather kill them all then give up his golden toilets. Just like Saddam and K'Daffy, the guy's an egomaniac and would rather hid in a rat hole than just allow people to have an election. I hope the Air Force drops a JDAM on that @#$%'s head!
According to the BBC news, there has been a crack down for a group of people who are against the government. The Syrians security forces have been fighting these rebel groups causing an extreme onslaught in the area.
The way they are fighting doesn't seem like they are making it any better.. I don't even know why they r fighting because I just watched a youtube video called syria call.. this video made me think that the way army r fighting against the rebels is unhuman such as poking their eyes out or pulling their nails off their hands is this what humans r able to do now adays? Seriouslly this world is going to end soon if these violence carry on
I was talking to a well read friend of mine yesterday and I asked him what is at the core of the fighting in Syria . He said 'Religion' then I said now I get it . My remark then was that the odds of this thing ending soon if Religion is at the core of it are slim to nothing . See the movie by Bill Maher 'Religousness' Then you will understand.
