Currently there isn't a way to send a question to another user, however it's a great suggestion - one that I think a few others have made in our Feedback forum. If you'd like you can add your vote to theirs...

Why don't I get sent my questions unless someone has sent it too me?
I only get sent questions that someone has requested it be sent to someone with knowledge on that subject.
For example: I was sent a question about "bait" the other day, because "live bait" is on my list. I have never been sent a fishing question. There have been about 12 questions about fishing bait in the last 2 days, none have been sent too me.
I have heard you do have the option to send it to someone, but I use the iPhone app so I don't get all the features ask offers because it's too slow on the ask/ answers site for me with the iPhone, and I do answer more than I ask because most of my questions (and others) are answered by the ask search engine (even the illegal ones) and fishing questions should be sent to me so that I can actually answer them without having to review the entire day of questions to find a few I'm qualified to answer.

The bait question the other day that was sent to me was a general question, the fishing bait questions were not sent to me. Lol, are you wrong, or is ask just failing to send me my questions? Or is it something software related? Or, my past thumbs down ratio from when I was not being serious? Why was the one in particular that said this question was sent to you, sent to me, and not the others?????????????????????!?!?

The closest you can come to this is when you post your question, you can choose to have it sent to people with expertise in a certain subject area, & hope that works. If you've viewed the person's profile you're hoping to send it to, & that's an interest area they've listed, your question might get to them that way.
