Why can't i install the homebrew channel for Wii?

I don't know how to install the channel,and every time I try it doesn't come out

Due to the various numbers of methods that have been used over the years, it can get perplexing on how to install the Homebrew Channel because each method usually requires a specific version of the Wii Menu system & some of the old methods no longer work... Like the Twilight Hack.

HERE'S THE EASY METHOD for you.

1) Check what version of the Wii Menu you're using. If your Wii is up to date, it should be running version 4.2 (ignore the letter as that's just a regional note).

2) Download the Bannerbomb exploit that's appropriate for your Wii.

If you're running Wii Menu 4.2, you'll need version 2
If you're running Wii Menu 3.0 - 4.1, you'll need version 1

WARNING: DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK AS THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY!!! -- While the installation of the Homebrew Channel CAN be used for illegal activities, the Homebrew Channel itself is NOT illegal. HOWEVER, it is a violation of Nintendo's Acceptable Usage Policy & you could run into problems with future updates issued by Nintendo. Therefore, the only person you can blame if you turn your Wii into a large paperweight is yourself.
