You have pink eye. You need to get some medicine to take care of it. Also, pink eye is VERY contagious. Wash your hands a lot.

Yep sounds like pink eye, pink eye could be caused by a virus and medicine will not cure it but it will go away on its own or it could be caused by bacteria and then will require antibiotics. Most doctors treat it as a bacteria infection just in case so if you don't have insurance I'd suggest you wait a few days to see if it will pass to save a few bucks and if not antibiotics will be need. YES, its very contagoius so don't wash your infected eye first and then turn around and wash your other eye because you will spread it!!!

above answer are right.. to speed up healing pros.. keep your hands clean wash them a lot.. do not rub eye it will only make worse, soke a clean wash cloth in hot water, warm, in bowl water and close your eye and hold it to your eye the heat will help open the ducks and let the puss and dirt come out repeat 3-4 times a day until gone hold hot rag on closed eye for 10-15min each time...
