How do wireless communication systems send and receive signals?

Wireless communications make use of electromagnetic waves to receive or send signals. It either sends or receives, but it cannot do both at the same time. Wireless communication systems send and receive signals in much the same way that cell phones do. They send a signal to the closest source, and it bounces back as a connection.
