If you like a mystery you could read the princess plot and the princess trap. To me they are not very princessy. It is kinda a kid book but a chapter book called when you reach me. It is about this girl who receives mysterious letters and one day gets one that says her friend is in trouble. One more is the hunger games and mocking jay and they are sequel books.and the city of ember. Sorry its alot.
It's great that you want to read! Here are a few ideas:
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen; Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery; Little Women by Louisa May Alcott; The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett; The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis; The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. If you like mysteries, try any of the Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, or any of the mystery novels written by Agatha Christie.
All of these are classics, and they are both entertaining and educational. Have fun!
