Can You Put Hydrogen Peroxide in Your Ear?

Report as

Yes, peroxide is safe to use in your ears. Put a teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide into the ear and hold your head over to the side for about 15 to 20 seconds or when the bubbling stops. When the bubbling stops, tilt your head to the other side and let it drain out. Peroxide can treat sinus infections, gum disease and bad breath.

Yes, you can put hydrogen peroxide in your ear. Simply tilt your head and gently pour a bit of peroxide into your ear and let it sit. Then tilt your head the other way while holding a tissue against your ear to let it drain. You will only need a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide to do this, about half a capful.

Yes, you can put hydrogen peroxide in your ear, but this is not recommended unless under a doctor's supervision. It is typically done to clean out a person's ear.
