How many international airports are in the U.S.? (Source Needed)

There are roughly 14,951 airports in the US. 5,000 have paved runways and 376 have regularly scheduelled airline service. The amount of International airports out of the total airports is about 1,000. Although there is 1,000 airports with the international title, only a handful actually have international flights. The other airports earn their international title from Custom officials. Here are some of the USA's busiest International airports.
