Why do they call it the poop deck.

The poop deck got its name because it comes after the poop cabin. It's not its original name though. The poop deck is technically a stern deck which is usually elevated as the roof or the stern. You can read all about it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poop_deck.

because there was no bathroom so they would just stand on the deck and bend over the edge and do there stuff.
