Math Formulas 3 times per week how do you figure for 1 year

We have approximately 52 weeks in one year, for example 2012 has 52 weeks meaning the math formula which it says 3 times per week, in one year it will be 3 times = 1 week what about 52 weeks? To solve that you say (52 weeks * 3 times) / 1 week = 156 times. The formula will be 156 times per 1 year.
