The girl just told me that it is better to end the relationship, cause she has and ex-boyfriend that is "threatening to hurt her"

The girl just told me that it is better to end up the relationship, cause she has and ex-boyfriend that is "threatening to hurt her" but that she really likes me! I don't believe that of course. I think she would have like me to act "different" like her other exs, we are like to different worlds that were attracted by gravitational force but different life form in it. Could this relationship work out at all? Thanks, I appreciate your help

Either she really likes you and fears for her, and your, safety, or she's using it as an excuse to break up with you. And yes, sometimes opposites do work out; but that's rare. It's hard to have a long-term successful relationship when you have nothing in common. Also, if she wants you to act like her old boyfriends, then she is not the one for you. And this "gravitational force" you are feeling is probably just sexual attraction. What happens when that wears off? Find someone who loves you as you are.

Not to be negative but let her go! I know it's hard, I've been there. Just be straight with her. Tell her how you feel and what you want. If she doesn't feel the same way be adults about it. And honestly, she'll probably "cry, cry, cry, and she'll want you then" haha
