At what age should non-siblings stop sleeping in the same room?

At what age should "non-siblings" stop sleeping in the same room? She is 5.5 and he is 11.5 . We live in Washington State is there a law that you know of?

I don't see any listings that say that people who aren't siblings can't sleep and/or share the same room, together. As for what age they should each get their own personal space? That's all up to them to decide.

Seems to me an older male reaching puberty (11.5) is not a suitable roommate for a 5.5 girl, especially if they are not related. Besides he should have his own space for his guy friends to hang out with. AND the same for her.

its up to them to decide whether to have different rooms or not.
