Joker.jeff is NOT correct when he says you can only get pregnant when on your period because that is when you ovulate. You actually ovulate on the 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16 th day of your period for most women with regular cycles. BUT plenty of people get pregnant their first time having sex regardless if the day-- so always use protection if you don't want a child!!
No, you cannot get pregnant if you had sex 2 weeks before you get your period. However, it is advisable to have a pregnancy test if there was no protection used. You can only get pregnant only when you are on your periods because these are the days you ovulate.
If you fear pregnancy; don't have sex. Even WITH birth control, women have become pregnant. There is ONLY ONE WAY not to get pregnant - don't give yourself away!! The boy can just walk away from it; YOU CAN'T!!!
