What's the most powerful military rifle of the twenty-first century?

I'm curious to know this for personal research into the world military.

I was about to give up on that!

It was really a good & tough question. Not sure if I got it correct but I gave it my all.

Ok, next question. Are notched bayonets better than normal bayonets?
Report as
In my opinion I would say "Yes" due to the normal ones are fixed & the notched ones are adjustable.
Report as
Really, but don't they have their downfalls in hand-to-hand combat?
Report as
Yes, they have their downfalls. Basically it depends on the purpose to have one. Hand-to-hand it's so rapid I would prefer the normal bayonets. Now as for once-in-a-life-time use (due to them being illegal), I would prefer the notched.

Yes, I've heard of a shovel being use for a weapon in WW1 due to those reasons. I can't say what I want to here due to the non-violent nature that this site has. Could I possibly e-mail you the rest?
Report as
Sorry, I won't give out my personal information on this site. Interesting subject though. Keep researching & weigh the opinions of others. As for the shovel being used during WW1, it can also be used in daily situations. There are many household items that can be used for weapons. As for the military, I'm sure they know more than we could even imagine. Just think what you could do with a screw-driver, lamp stand, baseball bat, rope, etc. Now you know the military has some of those items. Yes, you are correct. This subject is a little too sensitive for this site. I'm not saying I'm NRA or anything, just voicing my opinion & freedom of speech.

Sorry about that. Yes, I'm thinking about the uses of a screwdriver as a weapon.
Report as
No need to apologize. It's nice to get opinions of others versus websites. Good night & use your imagination, but no nightmares please.
Report as
Already gonna have them. It's ok though.

That's funny because I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to finish watching "Bloody Mama" starring Shelly Winters about 'Ma Barker & her Boys'. Goodnight & it's been very interesting conversation tonight.
