How Many Lines are in a Limerick
There are 5 lines in a limerick. The first two lines of a limerick must have the last words in it, that will rhyme with the 5th line's last word. And then the 3rd and 4th lines, must end in words that rhyme with one another.
Generally there is no limit to the lines in a limerick. Each verse on the other hand usually has five lines. The important things about limericks is that they rhyme and follow the AABBA pattern.
