It can cost thousands of dollars to remodel a home. It really depends on what you want to do and the materials you will use. For example, granite counter tops are much more expensive than Formica. Hardwood floors are more costly than linoleum. Wow, that is a project - and you are getting very close to having it less expensive to tear down the existing house and build new. It seems crazy but it is fast and less expensive to start from scratch and build a home then spend the same or more time moving this wall and that wall, etc. Regarding your questions. I am not sure what you mean by replacing plumbing and electrical but that can be expensive $10 to $20 k for both. The sealing the basement varies greatly from $1,000 to $10,000 and more you need an onsite bid to even get an idea. Remodeling the bathroom, kitchen, replacing the flooring and painting and fixing the laundry room can cost between $50,000 and $100,000+ depending on the material you choose and who does the design. For the remodeling cost estimate i got that at http://www.remodelormove.com/remodel-cost-calculators There were detailed cost break downs as well but I didn't want to paste all of that too.
