According to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), you can bring containers of liquid or gel as long as they are no larger than 3.4 ozs in your carry on luggage. All containers of liquid must be placed in a clear quart sized zip top bag. As many containers that will fit into that bag is how many you can bring. The bag must then be placed in the screening bin. Exceptions are made for items such as baby formula or breast milk, baby food, and medications. These must be declared to airport security. Larger liquid amounts can be carried in luggage that is checked in.
