Who would You dedicate a story to?

I would dedicate a story to my closest best friend. However, it would also depend on the context of the story. If it were a love story, I would dedicate it to my boyfriend but if it were a general story, then I would dedicate it to my best friend.

My dad who is an alcoholic and I would write about why people should not drink alcohol. How it makes you selfish and lonely!
