I like to think of a favorite time or memoire. Look at old photos. Play a game with my pet. Eat something I really like to eat. Be around people that make you feel good. Stress brings on anxiety. We all have stress to some level. We have to understand that some things we cannot change and we have to accept them and some thing we can change. Finding ways that you can make changes in your lifestyle to reduce your anxiety would be a good first step. Hope this helps :) Luv your kitty pic!
I too have anxiety and for me, i just have to calm myself down and take deep breaths and drink water while getting fresh air. If that doesn't help i would to go the doctor and have them prescribe anxiety pills. Hope this helped!
Good question. Lol. I have anxiety attacks and my doctor advised me to focus on something productive, think about something you really want to do that's fun or exciting. Treat it like a passing train. It's annoying and loud and hard to ignore, but it is only going to be there for a little bit. There's plenty of other methods that work well for others too. Just gotta figure out what works best for you.
The answers are good here, but I will add that anxiety is for many,a chemical imbalance or character trait that may require medication. Anxiety comes in different degrees and it can happen at any time. Try not to take on too many projects etc.as this will cause you stress. Be involved in fun activities and work at your pace. Learn to say no :).........Yoga and breathing classes will help, as will prayer. Yes, I too have anxiety which seems to be in my family, but as long as you know it is anxiety, it can be treated ..God Bless..Hope this helps
I second the Xanax, it's the most common prescription for people with anxiety issues. Most states that have medical marijuana don't/won't prescribe it. It's a depressant not a mood stabilizer, same reason they don't/won't prescribe it to bi-polar people. Xanax can make a world of difference!
