God forgives everyone just ask him he loves you so much that he made his only son die for YOU!!!!! God love you even if you have killed he still loves you.....I cannot change the fact you have sinned but if you ask god for gorgiveness he will wash it away------ I will pray for you ;)
Ask and you shall be heard then you will have the peace you seek. But once you ask, you need to allow your self to be open to his forgiveness. If it helps you, please know that we all forgive you and honor you and your fellow soldiers for doing what most of are not able to do in service for our county. Take care
Go back and read some of the Old Testament stories. God led many armies into battles and wars. One Bible story that almost everyone knows and remembers is the story of David and Goliath. David was an awsome warrier in battle. Why? Because he was so close to God. Some of the Psalms David wrote are about fighting battles against enemy forces. Remember Samson? Another great warrier. God knows what you did in the line of duty. After all, He was right there with you on the front lines, wasn't He??? I commend you for your service to God and our country. God knows what is in your heart. As my church says every time we take part in Holy Communion: Your sins ARE forgiven. May He bless you with His peace!
The simplistic answer is 'yes'. God is very clear about His ability to forgive fully, consistently, and permanently. From Genesis clear through Revelations you won't find a single book that doesn't spend time on the topic of God and forgiveness. Overwhelmingly the answer is that no matter what you have done, what you think you have done, what you will do in the future, whatever your reasons have been or will be, God extends forgiveness. Unfortunately just because we have forgiveness doesn't mean that we don't have to deal with the fall out. Sometimes we aren't the ones who have done wrong and we still have to deal with the consequences. This world can be dirty and evil and there are times when good people are left with no good decisions because there are no good choices. See comment for the good stuff... LT, thank you for serving your country. I served in the military as a Christian. Soldiers were never told to get out of the military in the New Testament. It is an honorable profession. If I were you, I would find a chaplain who truly knows and walks with God (not all do), and discuss this. It needs more attention than a site like this can adequately give. The God of the Bible is gracious, compassionate, and delights to show mercy. Jesus died for the sins of the world (all sins), including yours and mine. When Jesus said that hatred is as bad as murder, and lust is as bad as adultery, that pretty much includes all of us. Those who claim they are not included will be judged for pride and arrogance. God bless. Start reading the Gospel of John and find a real Christian if you don't have a chaplain.

From War Hero to Soldier of Christ (AS TOLD BY LOUIS LOLLIOT)
August 16, 1944, I was with the Allied forces that landed on the beaches in the south of France during World War II. After a week of combat on the Mediterranean Coast, my squadron of tanks entered the seaport of Marseilles and fought its way up the hill toward the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Basilica. Our mission was to take the German fortifications there.
Taking My Stand I received orders to join the French expeditionary corps that was being sent to fight in Indochina. At the time, I was serving as adjutant to the commanding officer at the Senate in Paris. Since by then I had come to understand the Bible principle of neutrality, I realized that I needed to make a decision. (John 17:16) I informed my superiors of my refusal to comply with orders to fight in Indochina, citing my desire not to participate in war anymore.?Isaiah 2:4.

YES You had to do what you had to do. Look at all the Wars in the Bible God was there Helping Abraham and others you had a calling my friend and you stood up and did your part.God loves a fighter not some wimp who won't fight for His country. We love you all for giving us FREEDOM. Thank You
What's to forgive? God commands us to obey authority. Your CO issued orders and you followed. Therefore you have obeyed authority and most importantly, God. Now you have to deal with your justified actions from a human perspective. Which may take some time. Taking a fellow human's life is not easy. I'm with you brotha. HUA?
