What does it mean if you keep catching your ex looking at you but you've been broken up for over a year and don't talk anymore?

so me and my ex have been broken up for over a year but i still like him and he's best friends with my girl cousin and friends with my best friend but I'm too shy to talk to him so we don't talk. but I Catch him looking at me a lot. but I also think he has something with this girl from another school. I don't get him help?

Maybe he looks at you thinking about the mistake he made...or he still has feelings for you thats the best i could think of...if you really want to know just go up to him & ask if he still has feelings for you or not...your both are Ex's your still alive & it happens to almost everyone you never know maybe he loves you...just ask the nicest way you can...or just talk & get close again from there take your next steps

I agree with that person^ but not completely. He might just be looking at you because he possibly thinks you look good lately. Or you look better than you did when you were together. It doesn't necessarily mean he has feelings for you. Trust me. I've been on both sides.

You should try him, don't shy for talk, just go ahead, and talk to him and if you want to understand he has another relationship with your girl cousin or your friends just take him under a prefect test and give him a magic words with your love, you know it's always gonna work, and if he has motion about you yet, he will show himself, i was in the cases like this trust me it's gonna work, good luck,
