I have that problem because I grind my teeth in my sleep when I'm anxious and it hurts :( I just try to forget about it...just pretend you're floating on a cloud in the night sky with stars all around you. That's my dream :)
First Tell the Lord what's wrong He already knows Tell him what is scaring you. The scary thing comes from the Devil him self and He is out to rob you from your sleep. So before you go to sleep shut your bedroom door and get on your knees and pray to God your Father in Heaven ant tell him your case. (Tell him the truth about it all or he will not listen because he knows all of the truth already He just wants to see if you are going to tell the Truth) He will answer you. When you go to sleep and you get scared call out JESUS' name the devil is scared at the sound of His holy name. even if all you can say is Jesus it will be enough. God Bless you.
Why, are you too scare to sleep? Do you know? Maybe, if you say why, we could get to the problem, and then you would be free indeed, without taking drugs that could affect your liver, kidneys, even your gums. If you tell, what is bothering you, someone has been there and a good chance to knock it out of your worry list. I hope, you take my advice, otherwise you might fix it today, and hate your self in the morning, allegorically speaking. I'm stress out? I leave the lights on, keep busy w/computer, drink warm milk w/crackers or try anything that will relax me, and count because you'll get bored and fall asleep. Some play the TV others go the other way, with silence, but do something that you expect to relax and keep your eyes closed, bye...
Get a large dog if you have room for it. If you don't have room get a small dog like a chihuahua. They are very good watchdogs. Mine only barked when someone drove up or was at the door. It made my wife feel secure. We did have a large doberman and no one came to the door or would get out of their car.
Ask a trusted adult for help with this... This is a somewhat common problem during early teen years, but can escalate if there are some circumstances of trauma, or if there is a domestic situation .. Please see your doctor, minister, rabbi, or school counsellor.. Try an adult female family member. Everyone deserves their rest from the daily grind of life!
