First, any real artist will tell you there is not a BEST INK. If there was it would be the only brand we all bought. Truth be told, the ink depends on the artist. What goes in good for one artist the next may hate and have a hard time with.
But I can suggest what I prefer. Not one specific brand but for white - Intenze is most likely the best but it is thick and may take practice when working it, Starbright for my yellows and oranges, Kuro Sumi for my tribal blacks - easily the most extreme of any black ink I have ever used, and National for most of the rest of my inks (national is one of the inks made from powder pigments). http://tvoffersproducts.com/FreeTattoos
By word of mouth, the best tattoo ink seems to be "Skin Candy". If you are lucky, when you purchase your equipment you might receive a supply along with that order. But, there are plenty of other inks that are very popular and it really depends on the tattoo artists preference. You can find more information here: www.jokertattoo.netwww.skincandy.net/
Sorry, but there is no single great tattoo pigment. It varies from brand to brand and is determined by the ingredients, the art work and the techniques of the tattoo artist. Check this site out for tattoo ink reviews: http://www.Tattoo-Ink-Reviews.com
