Dragon fruit can be quite intimidating due do it's very interesting appearance. Be sure you have a ripe one first by squeezing it. It should give a little bit, like a kiwi and the ends should not be brown.. You simpy take a knife and cut it down the middle. Take the inside flesh out by scooping it with a spoon. You can cut up the flesh in cubes. Do the same with the other side. Be sure not to eat the outside, pink skin. It is not edible. Enjoy this delicious and exotic fruit!
Dragon fruit might look a little freaky, but it's quite tasty and very nutritious. Once you cut through the skin with a sharp knife, simply separate the skin from the flesh. You can use a spoon to separate the skin and flesh. The flesh and seeds are both edible, but the skin is not.
