What are some ways to keep from getting tired on a track meet ?

i need help because i get tired on the fifth lap ! any answers!

get in shape!!!! running everyday and challenging yourself it takes some time but when your done you wont get tired at all

I do , but it never helps , i inhale a lot of air while running and its like i just break down!

A trick my coach taught me when I was on swim team, is sugar cubes and lemon slices..that way you get burst of energy from the sugar..and the lemon slices balance it out..

But want sugar cubes slow you down , i am doing distance and i am running around a big track 10 times !

Thats what the lemon slices are for..it keeps you from crashing.
