Dishwashers have three basic connections, a water supply, a drain line, and an electrical hookup. Place the dishwasher close to the opening in the kitchen cabinet where it will go, leaving room to make connections from the back side. Run the water supply line to the inlet and connect tightly. The next step is to position the drain line from the back of the dishwasher so that it doesn't get kinked when the dishwasher is in it's installed spot. Connect the drain line to the kitchen drain pipe. Carefully connect the electrical wiring and then slide the dishwasher into it's opening under the kitchen cabinet. Use screws to fasten the installation tabs to the underside of the kitchen cabinet. Test the dishwasher for leaks before you run a load of dishes.
