Because a lot of ignorant people just want to find someone to blame for the bad things that happen in the world. Why do some people hate black people for being black? Hate German's because of Germany in the Holocaust?
There is no rhyme or reason to why people hate recklessly, other than to remove the focus from their own problems and to place undeserved blame. ~Ninja Jackie-san
Yes, people have traditionally used religion to hate on other religions, as religion has always been a matter of tribalism. God couldn't just say "I forgive mankind" and instead ordered his son to be tortured to death, so the whole situation is actually God's doing.
I agree with the top with Indigenous_Genius and rainnsurf. But also for the younger generation of "jew haters" South Park pretty much encouraged it.Not only is it ignorant but the "new generation" don't even know why they hate them, they saw a influencing tv show so they followed what they saw.
First, the Jews didn't kill Jesus. The Romans did. The Sanhedrin did not have any capital punishment authority under Roman occupation. Second, there are no Romans around to hate ; it's easier to hate Jews. There has been a long history of antisemitism, in part fueled by this false accusation.
While it is true that Christ came to die for our sins; and that the Jewish people demanded the death of Christ at Roman hands; and that it was all in God's plan; it is also true that Christ himself came to the Jew only. Their rejection of him was conscious and willful. It was after his death that he chose to give his message to the non-Jew through the ministry of Paul. No one is right to hate another at any time. Hate comes from a heart incapable of love in any form. THAT is what ultimately killed Christ.
most of the reasons for hating anything are due to the way they are portrayed to the public. many white southern americans discriminate against african americans because they were portrayed as slaves and nothing more. yet, when we look back in history we find that greeks and romans and even alexnder the great traveled to africa to learn to read and write. people hate al-queada because of the media and how the news castors portray the middle east, when really al-queada was sponsored by, and received weapons from the usa.
it was the same for jesus. he was portrayed to the jews as a threat, and a liar, and they killed Him because that is what their leaders lead their people to believe.
I agree. Any Christian who hates a Jew is a hypocrite because we worship the King of the Jews. It was obviously wrong of those people to kill Jesus, but just because those Jews did it doesn't mean that all Jews would kill Jesus given the chance. That's like thinking all Muslims have bombs strapped to their chests, or all Christians want to start a Crusade to get the Holy Land. I honestly don't understand why some people dislike Jews so much.
