How can I make my Spanish better?

I am Mexican, native Spanish speaker, and I talk spanish everyday because my mom and mostly all family doesn't know English. the problem is is that my vocabulary is very very limited. I am in native Spanish 1+2 in school (that is a class for students who can speak spanish) and it is taught in all Spanish. how can I increase my Spanish vocabulary? my English completely dominates my Spanish.

try to write some words, how to say the words, and a definition on a piece of paper from a spanish dictionary. write some words down to try to conversate with every body. just make sure you don't screw up on your words and try to keep the sentences short but easy to understand with your family.. But don't give up!

If you are not getting enough practice in your community, or at home, your best bet would be to look for online forums that are entirely in Spanish. That way you can practice not only reading, but writing as well.
