After a careful research of how forgiving the person or persons that wronged us affects us, I find it more beneficial to forgive than to harbor resentment. The reason being not forgiving a person causes bitterness and being bitter can cause all kinds of physical problems such as stomach or digestion problems even in some cases high blood pressure just to name a few. Not forgiving a person keeps you in the pig pen of bitterness and if we are bitter then we are not going to get better. In my conclusion forgive him from your heart and thank God for a brand new start.

To forgive isn't easy especially if the person really wronged us. If he does it correctly and in good faith then you should go ahead and forgive him. By apologizing, he shows that he has accepted to be held responsible for his actions. Just forgive him, you only need to tell him how you felt, how you feel now and that you have forgiven him.
