Your last question, "how do I manage my anger?" is truly un-answerable. Anger cannot be "managed". It takes over and manages YOU as you have already experienced and described so well. So the only answer to anger is that it must be "resolved". It must be gotten rid of. I do not mean that you will never be angry again, but that you must deal with each incident that arouses anger within you. As a previous answer says, spend some time learning what makes you angry. There usually is a common trigger or two. Regardless of the trigger, the answer to resolving anger is always the same. You must forgive the one who offends you. This is not a simple thing so I do not want you to overlook how important it is. Usually we need help to learn how to forgive. Find the best person you respect whom you think might be able to help you with this. It is worth it - you obviously are already looking ahead and understanding how this can destroy you. It's ugly, I wish you great success. Keep working at it.

I used to have a similar problem. I found that I needed to talk it out with someone. Every night, before I go to bed, I talk it out. I mean tell them about how you have felt during the day. Let it all go out. They should understand that they should not judge you. You need help and are asking for it and they should let you let loose.

If you do not have someone to do this with. Write it down maybe?

It has worked. I no longer have the problem and it has been years.... so there is hope!

Yeah, find someone who will not judge you. If it's not your mom, maybe a sibling or someone else, or just a penpal or imaginary one.

The key to managing anger is by understanding and determining what is causing the anger. Do not suppress any form of anger; express it in a healthy way like talking to the person who is the source of the anger. Also, every time you feel like getting angry, breathe in deeply and think of happy thoughts. If nothing works, seek therapy or enroll in an anger management class.

Exercise, deep breathing, changing your mindset. When thoughts pop up, push them out right away and think of things that make you happy and peaceful, and like Ham said^^^ talking it out,via friends, councilor.

The way I have found to have a peaceful night's sleep is to pray first. It may sound hokey and bible-thumperish, but for some reason, taking the time to "center down" and ask the Lord to give me and those I love a peaceful night, and a perfect end. When I ask Him to give me the comfort and patience to deal with those who frustrate me, to deal with the pain I live with every day, and to watch over those whose stories make me want to help them, it calms me, and comforts me, and gives me those things I have asked for....

Take a bath and while doing you can let the steam off by imagining the persons in front of you and talk it out
