What is the best holiday employee gift you've ever received?

My company is looking to give its employees something good. Ideally about $40/person. Any great ideas from holidays past? Also, thanks Lajoyc for the good idea, but I'd like to be able to give something that they can keep and remember what a great year it's been--so less fungible than cash :)

My old company made a lottery every year with the gifts the clients send to them. That one year I was seriously lucky. I won the crystal wine glasses and a ham lol

The best holiday employee gift that I have every received is a $25 Visa gift card. One year I did get a $500 bonus for Christmas but the next year that company laid me off so I don't know if the bonus was the best thing for them to do. My aunt's job give them a turkey every Thanksgiving and a Ham every Christmas but I still prefer my gift card. That was I can buy whatever I want.
