Depends on how you feel towards that person and what you are texting otherwise no.
*if you have to ask, maybe you know the answer better than we do.

If you have a boyfriend, I would think it would be ok so long as he knows about it and is willing to show your bf the texts if he asks.

It's ok as long as you are not talking about anything too personal. Text about things your g/f or b/f would be okay with. Same goes for talking on the phone.
