I'm building a railing and I need a wooden handrail that is about 1" high and at least 4" wide. Where can I find one of these?

Needs to be very wide. Similar to a cruise ship's railing.

You can buy the handrail online from the http://www.tradestairs.com/acatalog/wall_handrail_components.html. You can get very different types of handrails at an affordable price. You can also buy from buystairparts.com, simmonsstairways.com and stairsupplies.com.

Doesn't matter because its for a theatre set. It just has to be wider than 4". And I'm in PA

I doubt you're gonna find any rail with those dimensions. If u do, the price will be astronomical as it's an illegal size. Code doesn't permit 1"x4" for anything except fall protections. If its just for a play, then just pick a good straight 2x6 (1 1/2" x 5 1/2") and rip it down to 4". Get a fancy router bit for about $20 and put a nice profile on it and call it a day. Total cost for 16 ft would only be about $25 .....
Good luck.
