Is it possible to become a certified fitness trainer without being associated with a training association such as ACE, ISSA, NASM and etc.?

I have been involved in sports for 20 yrs & just want to take the certification exam.

It's not possible to become a certified fitness trainer without being associated with the training associations. The associations help to give reputation to a trainer once they venture in the career. It is also a requirement to get certified as a fitness trainer.
