Got some shots today and i am in pain now please help!?

last week i posted on here that i had to go to the doctor this week for shots and that when the doctors office called me they said that one of the shots had to go in my butt, . so people on here told me to relax, stare at the wall and try not to think about it. well this morning i went for my shots, they said i would get 2 of them 1 in the arm and 1 in the butt. the shot in the arm went off just fine, then after that they told me to pull my pants down and lay on the table on my tummy. so i did, i was laying there and i stared at a poster on the wall and i started to sing a song in my head to help distract me(wanted someone to hold my hand but had no one to do that) they came over and wiped my left butt check off then next thing i know they push the needle in and it hurt some then as they started to inject it it stung and burn some and i started crying cause of the pain of the shot. it took like a minute to inject after the shot was over my butt was on fire. they put a band-aid on it and told me i could go. my butt is still on fire some and it is a little painful to sit down on that side.

so what can i do about the pain and how long till it goes away? and why did it hurt?
