We had a rabbit that just recently died. She was almost 9 years old which is rather old. We planned to let her roam the house but keep her cage door opened. Turned out she preferred the cage (it was 28"x 48"). I cleaned it out once every week. Leaving it in the bath tub filled with hot water and 1/2 gallon of Clorox Clean-up. I'd let it soak for a couple if hours, dump out the water and let it dry completely. Then I use an entire litter bag. They need a good size hanging water bottle as rabbits drink a lot of water. The rabbit pellets aren't too costly. Be careful not to over feed. Bunnies can be so sweet! I hope you enjoy yours.
You need to get it a cage and a water bottle and some wood or wood toy for it to chew on or else it's teeth will ovwrgrow. You need to change the bedding weekly and refill the water bottle everyday with fresh water. They like to be outside with fresh air. Just make sure that they are somewhere safe if you put it outside or if you have other animals interested in it.
bring it to the bet at least every 3 months, change his shavings in his cage at least once a week or more depending on how much ur bunny poops i guess. Give him fresh water daily & fresh food as well. They also have little beds and toys u can get him.
