Is the need for privacy an instinct, or is it learned?example- my baby seems to seek privacy on potty. is this a DRIVE or learned from us?

This behavior can be both an instinct and a learned trait. The kid can notice how you avoid being in the same place when going for your long call sessions hence learn from it while others are scared of being nude in front of people.

i have bad dreams where i am walking in public in my panties and feel really exposed, embarrassed, and fearful. now i think those feelings are learned. and I would never ever take a vacation at a "clothing optional" resort. My emotional reaction to that thought is utter fear and horror.
is that normal?
