How did George Washington die?

George Washington died of pneumonia, which was aggravated by a weakened immune system. Today, doctors believe he died of an acute streptococcal infection of the larynx, which had caused a painful swelling of the interior of the larynx, and resulted in suffocation.

George Washington died from treatments for a lung infection. In which the bleeding (they took nearly .63 gallons of blood) was too much for his sick body to handle.
