Since the Binda Group acquired the Geneva Watch Group in 2008, Geneva watches have been made as a subsidiary of Binda. Binda has a licensing agreement with companies such as Kenneth Cole New York, Ted Baker London, Tommy Bahama and many others. Binda owns Hip Hop, Freestyle California, Vetta and Breil, as well as the Geneva Watch Group.
The Geneva Watch Group, originally founded in 1974, creates a large variety of brand names. It manufactures and distributes clocks and both digital and analog watch styles.
The Binda Company has been making watches since 1906 when Innocente Binda opened a shop on Lake Maggiore in Italy. In the same year that the Binda Group acquired the Geneva Watch Group, it opened mono-brand stores in New York, Roma and Berlin.
