    For the first few days, shake the bottle once per day to remove the foam caused by the buildup of gas bubbles. Again, allow the air to escape.

  4. Leave the mixture to ferment

    Allow the mixture to sit undisturbed to ferment anywhere from two days to three months. Release the gas as needed.

  5. Strain the solution

    Using the cheesecloth or a mesh sieve, strain out the peel. In a glass spray bottle, mix the remaining liquid with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar.
