Omnipoint Corporation was a phone service provider based in the Midwestern United States. It merged with VoiceStream Wireless in February of 2000. The company later became T-Mobile.
After February 25, 2000, Omnipoint Communications merged with the other VoiceStream companies to become one entity. After several more mergers and acquisitions, the company became T-Mobile in July of 2002.
Suspected scam calls from an "Omnipoint Communications, Inc." asking for personal information have been reported from 2011 to 2014 on the Complaints Board website.
