These topics cover a wide range of information that prepares students to be productive members of society. Standardization keeps the majority of students at the same learning level throughout their formative years.

Students attending a traditional school gain exposure to a variety of people, which helps them to learn how to interact with people from different backgrounds. Public school interaction helps young people develop their social skills.
Disabled students and those with special needs benefit from attending traditional schools. These students are either integrated into regular classes or put in alternative learning environments.
