What Is the Student Population at UCLA?

As of the fall quarter in 2013, the total enrollment at University of California, Los Angeles consists of 42,163 students. The student body at UCLA consists of undergraduate, graduate, international students, interns and residents.

The student body at UCLA is ethnically diverse, as students come from all 50 states and over 100 foreign countries. The enrollment by ethnicity breakdown is 3.8 percent African-American, 0.6 percent American Indian/Alaska Native, 34.8 percent Asian/Pacific Islander, 18 percent Hispanic, 27.8 percent Caucasian and 11.8 percent international.

The total undergraduate student population as of the 2013 fall quarter is 28,674, while the total graduate student population is 13,138. There are 1,368 residents and interns at UCLA.
