If you are hosting a party this New Year's Eve and know that there are going to be children at your home who are going to need something to do, what follows are 3 great New Year's Eve games ford kids to play on this fun evening. New Year's Eve can always have the potential to become a difficult time when hosting kids, and the last thing you are going to want is to have one of them go through a meltdown at 11:45 due to boredom. Instead of dealing with a difficult child right before the clock strikes midnight, try one of the following great games for kids to play on this special evening.

Bubble Wrap Competition

One great and extremely cost effective game you can have children play on New Year's Eve is a bubble wrap stomping competition. Give each child an equally sized piece of bubble wrap. Then, give them 30 seconds to see how many bubbles they can pop! Make it interesting by awarding the winner with a small toy or a couple of dollars.

Face Paint

Another great game you can play when hosting children for New Year's Eve is to have them dress up like clocks, using whatever tools available. Then, paint their faces accordingly. One child can have his or her face painted white with the numbers around the edge, and another can wear a black long sleeve turtleneck to represent the hands of a clock. Also, one kid can try to do his or her best to be a cuckoo clock and paint their face accordingly.

Pin the Tail on the Donkey

Finally, another option you always have on New Year’s Eve is to play pin the tail on the donkey, which can be fun for kids and parents alike. The most important thing to remember is to keep it fun for kids on New Year's Eve!
