7 Amazing Heels by Jessica Simpson

By Kyera Giannini , last updated December 9, 2011

Jessica Simpson shoes marry innovation and the classics with a healthy dose of sensuality. Brilliant colors, bold lines, chic cutouts and staggeringly high heels set the tone for each shoe. Even the plainest, solid color booties have swaths of contrasting textures and color, along with a high, curved ankle. These seven amazing heels stride through rooms with a personality all their own.

Francis

New to the fall collection, this arched bootie has a clean, smooth exterior of leather with triangle elastic insets on the sides in contrasting colors. The hidden 1.2-inch platform ends in a sculpted square toe and helps take a bit of height away from the 4.9-inch heel. The top comes up high on the ankle with the leather front and back reaching up just a tad higher than the elastic insets, creating a lovely scallop-like hem. Throw these on with a pair of skinny jeans or under a skirt/dress to dress it down. With versatile colors of acorn (brown with a golden glow) or silver-grey, these will become your go-to shoes for the season.

Pleasance

The ability of this shoe to change tones with just a simple color adjustment makes it a staple of the wardrobe. Both versions have a simple hidden platform peeptoe pump with a 5-inch heel and contrasting colors and textures. The silver and black version imparts a fun, disco feel with a black/silver metallic heel and toe, nude sole and black sides. The other version, however, fits in at an equestrian event or walking the hallowed halls of an ivy league. Brown patent leather covers the heel and front toe, the ankle has a patch of black and the rest is textured tan.

Evannan

A brilliant display of color and cutouts. This sleek shoe features an upper shaped like a bootie, but with triangle cutouts on the sides and a peeptoe front to jazz it up. The 1.4-inch stacked platform has black on the bottom and either blue or pink above that, depending on your color choice. A soaring 5.1-inch heel lifts and arches the foot to elongate the silhouette, while contrasting panels of black curve down over the middle of the foot and run to the peeptoe. The rest of the shoe is either Bermuda Pink or Blue Violet in kid suede. The back zips up for an easy and comfortable fit.

Match

Contrasting textures and patterns filled the runways this season, and this shoe follows that trend in burnt autumn colors. A classic peeptoe heel gets stacked high on two layers and the heel rises 5.25 inches. Patent leather trim in black crisscrosses over the toe and traces up the sides of the shoe. The real focal point, however, is the color blocking. The most subtle version has a soft, sophisticated quality with its nude patent leather over the toe and heel contrasted with a black platform and ankle. A swatch of sheer netting on the sides sends a current of sensuality through it. You can also pick warmer colors with the Burnt Red Combo that features a panel of royal blue or a soft, calming color palette of Burnt Sienna on the top and heel with white-grey trim and a grey stacked platform.

Para

This shoe acts as a sensually elegant companion to the heavy tweeds and corduroys that come out during the cooler months. The traditional peeptoe pump gets a large rosette over the toe to emphasize femininity, but then arches five inches high with a 1.25-inch platform to show some serious attitude. Pick up the white houndstooth fabric version with a black heel and platform to match the Chanel style for this season. For a shoe to match virtually anything, get it in solid patent black. Or, for a sassy seductive edge, go with the nude patent leather over a black netted heel and platform.

Beckery

Although this shoe formed part of last season’s collection, it has too much fabulousness to pass by. One of their most innovative shoes ever, the Beckery has an architecturally sculpted heel and platform. The 2-inch platform features only the frame, with the middle removed, and the heel has a triangle cutout at the top. The rest of the pump is a simple peeptoe with a thin ankle strap. The platinum metallic herringbone, dark violet maya nubuck and cranberry maya nubuck all fit the color trends for the fall season.

Jetko

A simple, supple shoe with a square peeptoe and semi-bootie top. The front panel has elastic, allowing you to slip it easily on and off. The platform rises 1.2-inches, while the heel extends up 4.9 inches. It comes in black or pale camel. The nude color pairs well with colorful outfits or over dark stockings, while the black looks great with anything. The casual simplicity allows this shoe to be dressed up or down.
