The A.L.C. clothing collection by designer Andrea Lieberman consists of sophisticated basics as well as modern, bold designs for women of all ages. The philosophy behind the company is to create clothing that is wearable and loveable for years to come. Clothes in the ALC line are designed for modern women who desire style, comfort and wear-ability.
The A.L.C. collection includes dresses, sweaters, shirts, pants, shorts and skirts. Although chic and elegant, most of the pieces in the collection aren’t designed to be flashy and eye-catching. Rather, they’re designed for everyday wear and versatility. Most items can be dressed down for work or dressed up for an evening on the town. The styles and designs blend well together and can be worn separately, layered, or as mix-and-match separates. The color scheme of the ALC collection consists primarily of classic black and white as well as neutral colors such as grey, peach and taupe. The patterns are subtle and elegant without drawing attention to themselves. The classic style and subtly of this collection makes it suitable for women of all ages.
Andrea Lieberman studied at New York’s Parsons School of Design before becoming a celebrity stylist. However, she has always stayed true to her aspirations to design clothing. In the past, she designed jewelry for her store Culture & Reality, and she also has a jewelry line for Mouawad. She cites her primary design influences as people she’s worked with, cinema and her world travels.
Many of Andrea Lieberman’s celebrity clients including Ellen Pompeo, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani showed up at the collection’s launch party at Barney’s department store. Pieces from the A.L.C. collection have appeared in women’s fashion magazines including: Elle, Marie Claire, Lucky, and Bazaar.
The A.L.C. collection is available at select upscale department stores in the U.S and abroad including Barney’s Nordstrom, and Tucci. Clothes range in price from $295 to $1,100. They are also available online through designer clothing store Intermix.com.
