All About Moda International

History

Moda International began in Hungary in 2005 and has since expanded into many other countries including Russia, Romania, Austria, Croatia and the United Kingdom. Moda International first sought to introduce Italian made clothes to Hungary and they succeeded by partnering with Italian manufacturer Kartika as a distributor. Since then, they have formed partnerships with many Italian clothing manufactures and clothing brands including Sensazioni, Samar Spa, Centex Spa, Macot Spa, and ITG.

Partnerships

Moda International partners with Italian clothing manufacturers and Private Label companies. The company serves as a bridge between these companies and their customers. They handle transportation and delivery of merchandise to stores. They also take orders, send invoices, and receive payments for their partners. In addition, Moda International assists with marketing clothing through fashion shows, trade shows and events.

Representation

Moda International represents Centex Spa and I.T.G., two of the biggest clothing manufacturers in Italy. The Moda International label is attached to these manufacturer’s clothes and the company delivers this merchandise to different markets throughout Europe.

Private Label

Moda International sells clothes to Private Label clothing brands. An example would be a Victoria Secret bra manufactured in Italy, labeled with Moda International and then sold by Victoria Secret. However, in many cases Moda International would leave off the tag and the clothing would simply bear the name and logo of the brand selling the product.

Distribution

Moda International acts as a distributor for Kartika and Sensazioni. They locate retail outlets for clothes manufactured by these companies and then handle transportation and payments. Kartika is known for creating bold, trendy clothes for women, while Sensazioni focuses on creating stylish plus size outfits for women.

Markets

Moda International acquires a wide selection of Italian-made clothing that incorporates a variety of styles, colors and looks. This enables them to sell clothes to a number of different markets including boutique labels, chains, department stores, wholesale companies and independent companies. They offer trendy clothing, sophisticated clothing, plus size clothing, and clothes that appeal to a wide variety of ages and segments of the population.

Expansion

Since their inception, Moda International has significantly grown and the company is continuously expanding. Their most recent expansion included setting up offices in the United Kingdom. Moda International clothes are available for purchase from a number of online websites and at select department stores. Shirts are priced around $30 to $40 dollars and pants around $40 to $50. The prices are fairly reasonable, considering that they are Italian imports. Although the primary focus is on women’s fashion, they also provide clothing for men. Since Moda International produces clothes for many Private Labels, you may own some of their clothing and not even know it.
