A Bundt cake (don’t pronounce the “d”) is simply any cake baked in a Bundt pan, and these recipes will help you make your own. Bundt pans are ring shaped cakes with distinctive holes in the middle. The following recipes offer two divergent takes on the classic dish.
Preheat your oven to 325 F, and then grease and flour a Bundt pan. Spread your chopped pecans across the bottom of the pan. Combine your cake and pudding mixes in with your eggs, ¾ cup of water, oil and cream liqueur for five minutes at high speed. Pour this mixture into the Bundt pan and bake for 60 minutes.
Prepare your glaze. Combine your butter, ¼ cup of water and sugar and bring it to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring it regularly. Take it off the heat and stir in your Irish cream.
Cool the cake for 10 minutes and invert it onto your serving plate. Use the back of a spoon to spread your glaze over the cake.
Great a Bundt pan and preheat your oven to 325 F. Mix together your sugar and oil, and then beat in the eggs and stir in both the honey and vanilla. Separately, combine your flour, baking powder and soda, salt, cinnamon and allspice, and stir this mixture into the batter. Then add your apples and your nuts. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes and let it cool for 10 more prior to inverting it onto your serving plate.
