The best Christmas party outfits for men are usually more conservative, as Christmas is a time of year for family and reflection, not a time to make a statement through your unique, cutting-edge sense of style. The Suit
A suit truly is good in just about any situation and this goes for a Christmas party ensemble for a man. It is warm in colder Christmas environments, especially with an overcoat, a hat and a scarf and it is formal enough for a nice Christmas party (with a tie) yet casual enough for a more relaxed Christmas party (without a tie). You can also mix up what shirt you wear under the suit jacket, be it a button up shirt which will lean more towards the dressy side or a long sleeved turtle neck, which verges on the more conservative, upper crust side. These consist of red, green and white, though you probably shouldn't wear all of those in that order as you will run the risk of looking like the Italian or Mexican flags.
